In a vibrant initiative aimed at supporting emerging talent, ASBIS has teamed up with luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen and the renowned Romanian Oh, DA! Design Studio to host the “Dare to Design!” competition. This platform encourages the ingenuity of young designers by challenging them to create innovative interior designs for living rooms that showcase Bang & Olufsen's iconic products.
This year’s competition attracted a diverse group of participants, including established designers and fresh talent, who were tasked with blending contemporary aesthetics with cutting-edge audio technology. Among the winners are Paul Tatar, an accomplished interior designer and 3D artist, the dynamic team of architect Mihaela Serban and sound engineer Dan Daraban and product designer Anca Fetcu. Their impressive designs stood out for their creativity and ability to harmonize with Bang & Olufsen’s high-end offerings.
The “Dare to Design!” initiative marks the second edition of this successful competition, which previously engaged over 35 designers from Romania’s top architecture and design firms. This contest beautifully reflects ASBIS's core philosophy, a pillar of its CSR efforts dedicated to nurturing and empowering young talent across various fields and celebrating the rising stars of tomorrow.
