At ASBIS, our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) centers on empowering young people and fostering their development. We take pride in our active involvement in key educational projects that cater to the rising stars of tomorrow while also prioritizing the health and well-being of future generations.
In this spirit, we are excited to share details about our long-term charity initiative, the
Decide and Help program, which has been making a positive impact through our Slovakian office. This program is dedicated to supporting local educational centers and providing financial support to children in need of rehabilitation and therapeutic services.
So far, the program has funded four charity projects:
- OZ Útulok Tuláčik. A center that rescues abandoned dogs and helps them find new homes.
- OZ Lucaskov svet. Financial support for a boy named Lucasko with childhood autism to aid his rehabilitation.
- Tomáško’s Story. Support for a courageous boy with achondroplasia to help with his treatment and improve his quality of life.
- Support for Klačno Elementary School in Ružomberok. Our contributions have targeted enhancing their chemistry curriculum and supporting creative school projects. This vibrant institution offers a wide range of clubs, excursions, and various cultural, social, and sports activities for its students. Each year, Klačno Elementary engages in the development of innovative projects and pursues grants that allow students to access modern equipment and advanced pedagogical methods.
