ASBIS, in collaboration with the Cyprus Children’s Sailing School, organized a truly memorable event for the children of ASBIS employees. The event featured a special sailing session led by none other than Olympic champion Igor Matvienko.
During the session, the children had the opportunity to navigate the boats, handle the sails, and master all the essential techniques for controlling the course. After a fulfilling 2-hour session, the children returned with beaming smiles and a touch of sun-kissed skin, clearly having thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
ASBIS places great emphasis on promoting active physical education among young people. Active participation in various sports competitions, such as running and yachting, is encouraged. Notably, the ASBIS Sailing Team Bravo has been a consistent performer in the international regatta circuit, securing multiple victories over the years. Sailing serves as an excellent platform for developing endurance, fostering team spirit, and honing logical and strategic planning skills - all of which are essential qualities in the business environment.
