Since October 2021, ASBIS has been a Board Member of TechIsland – an IT association with a mission to turn Cyprus into a world-class destination for talents. The organization was established in Spring 2021 as a non-profit and has already welcomed more than 170 members, which include the most prominent and innovative local and international companies.
TechIsland has set itself an ambitious goal - it wants to make the tech industry the most impactful driver of Cyprus’ GDP growth, tax revenue increase, and job market expansion by the year 2030. To achieve this, the organization has developed a strategy that includes extensive initiatives, plans and works on improving the operating environment for tech companies, strengthening the investment infrastructure, and promoting Cyprus as an IT hub.
ASBIS has been operating in Cyprus for over 25 years and always strived to contribute to the local community and business environment. In 2014 the company was even acknowledged for its investment in the national economy at the “CIPA International Investment Award” held under the auspices of the President of the Republic.
Now, as a board member of TechIsland, ASBIS has access to a wide network of like-minded technology companies and entrepreneurs, who can join forces to make a bigger impact and carry out the most demanding programs to grow Cyprus’s tech ecosystem.
