ASBIS SK recently organised an eco-focused team-building event, which has already become a good tradition in the multinational ASBIS family. This time, the team gathered at the Štiavnica Mountains volcanic range, a spectacular natural site rich in biodiversity. The team aimed to demonstrate their commitment to environmental sustainability by accomplishing various daily tasks.
The team made significant progress in achieving their goals through their well-coordinated work, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility towards nature. Firstly, the team cleaned 250 meters of drainage ditches in Banská Štiavnica, a historically significant site registered with UNESCO. The area is known for its unique flora and fauna, and the team's efforts helped preserve the site's natural beauty. Secondly, the team collected around 450 kg of garbage from the Horna Roven area.
The team was mindful of the impact of litter on the environment and took great care to dispose of the collected garbage responsibly. In addition to these activities, the team also painted the fence of a kindergarten in Banska Stiavnica, creating a colourful and cheerful environment for the children. They also decorated the appearance of the football field in the village of Vyhne, making it more attractive and enjoyable for the local community.
The ASBIS SK team demonstrated their commitment to environmental sustainability through their dedication, teamwork, and responsible actions. Their efforts will inspire others to take similar steps to preserve and protect the natural world.
