ASBIS organized a large-scale team building event in Štiavnica tajchs, a UNESCO heritage site, which brought together over 100 ASBIS staff members. The main objective of the event was not only to foster team spirit but also to make a positive impact on the local environment and social infrastructure. The ASBIS team achieved remarkable success in this endeavor.
One of the major accomplishments was the removal of 200 meters of UNESCO ditches in Stiavnica Tajcha, artificial lakes constructed to address the water scarcity in the historic mining area. These lakes were part of a unique water supply system designed and built by engineers to collect rainwater from the mountain slopes and channel it into reservoirs, a pioneering solution in Europe.
Additionally, the team dedicated efforts to cleaning and maintaining a 25-acre animal enclosure at the ZOO PARK in Revishtsky Podzamče. They also gathered 200 kg of apples to provide a delightful treat for the animals. Furthermore, the ASBIS team contributed to the improvement of local infrastructure by enhancing a playground, creating a safe and enjoyable space for children to play.
