Details: ASBIS Romania is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the Video Conferencing & Personal Workspace solutions business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by developing strategic partnerships, executing effective sales and marketing initiatives, and delivering high-value B2B solutions to partners.. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to implement strategies that enhance Video Conferencing & Personal Workspace solutions presence and success in the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the personal collaboration, video conferencing or related technology industry
- Strong understanding of the local market, channel distribution models, and competitive landscape
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI), demand generation activities, and digital marketing strategies to support sales efforts
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with partners and clients
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Experience in preparing and executing sales strategies and business plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with presales engineering, technical consultations, or system integrations is a plus
Functions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Romania, ensuring a successful market launch, expansion, and revenue growth for VC & PW B2B solutions
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to increase brand awareness, market penetration, and sales performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, enterprise customers, and industry influencers, to drive long-term business success
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable business strategies
- Provide expert presales engineering support, including product demonstrations, technical consultations, and system integrations, to ensure partners and customers fully leverage the portfolio solutions
- Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Demand Generation (DG) activities, to support sales objectives and enhance brand visibility
- Track and analyze key sales and business performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed
- Represent ASBIS & Core Vendors at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and strengthen business relationships
